B16.5 150lb Blind Flange RF ANSI and ASME

1. Class 150 flanges except Lap Joint might be furnished with 0.06 (1.6mm) raised face, which can be integrated in ??Thickness?ˉ (C) and ??Length via Hub?ˉ (Y1), (Y3).
2. For Slip-on, Threaded, Socket Welding and Lap Joint Flanges, the hubs is often shaped either vertical from base to prime or tapered within the limits of 7 degrees.
3. Blind Flanges may be created using the exact same hub as that used for Slip-on Flanges or devoid of hub.
4. The gasket surface and backside (bearing surface for bolting) are produced parallel inside 1 degree. To accomplish parallelism, spot facing is carried out in line with MSS SP-9, without having lowering thickness (C).
5. Depth of Socket (D) is covered by ANSI B 16.five only in sizes by means of 3 inch, more than three inch is at the manufacturer?ˉs solution.

NOTE:
1. Class 300 flanges except Lap Joint are going to be furnished with 0.06 (1.6mm) raised face, which can be included in ‘Thickness’ (C) and ‘Length through Hub’ (Y1), (Y3).
2. For Slip-on, Threaded, Socket Welding and Lap Joint Flanges, the hubs is often shaped either vertical from base to top or tapered within the limits of 7 degrees.
3. Blind Flanges may well be produced using the similar hub as that applied for Slip-on Flanges or without having hub.
4. The gasket surface and backside (bearing surface for bolting) are made parallel inside 1 degree. To accomplish parallelism, spot facing is carried out in accordance with MSS SP-9, with no decreasing thickness (C).
5. Depth of Socket (D) is covered by ANSI B 16.five only in sizes by way of three inch, more than three inch is in the manufacturer’s choice.
